We are looking for a Crew Coordinator to join our team at our office in Gothenburg.
About the Company
Salén Ship Management is responsible for the technical and operational management of two wholly-owned expedition cruise ships within our group. The vessels maintain the highest standards and navigate international waters, from the Arctic in the north to Antarctica in the south. About the Position
As a Crew Coordinator, you will play a central role in coordinating the crew and will work closely with both the ships, our colleagues at the office, and our manning agents. In your role, you will be responsible for the daily administration of crew changes, scheduling, travel arrangements, budgeting, and ensuring the best possible service from our partners.
Key Responsibilities
Your Profile
We are looking for a structured and communicative person with strong social skills. It is important that you are willing and able to work in a small team with high autonomy expected in each position. You thrive in an international environment and communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken. Ideally, you have a few years of experience working with seafarers in international traffic and/or with vessels registered in the Bahamas, and a good understanding of the administrative processes related to manning and seafarer contracts. Experience from the cruise industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
The position is based in Gothenburg and may involve travel both within and outside of Sweden.
Employment Conditions
The position is a full-time, permanent position with a start date as soon as possible, preferably before April 1, 2025.
